“What is your aspiration?” my daughter and a book I was reading asked recently (the mysterious synchronicity of this!).
Diving in, below the surface, into that empty space, soaring or floating, no life vest attached.
I used to be cut off from where people were, where joy of life was going on, where the exciting things were coming up, I was on the side, almost off the grid, never involved, never an insider.
Now standing mid-stream in the splashing and rolling river of life, in an abundant way of life — forests, trails, pastures, moors, clouds, farmhouses, springs, myths, legends, people that were, people that walk by speaking countless languages, known or unknown to me. And yet, still a spectator, on the grid, right in the middle, but people are around me, not with me.
What I want? Connection. Connecting with people, with the synchronicities and opportunities that bring us closer — through my work, through my writing or my daily doings. Readers, people down the street, coming my way, me going their way. Laughs and intentional, meaningful exchanges.
Shining out light for connection, like a signal into the space. If you're out there, know that I'm here.
I am here.
Connecting.
This piece is connected to three others. First, you need to read them in the order I have in mind; when you’re through, you’ll see you can read them in any order you prefer. This should be piece no. 1.

I can relate to this, at least part of it. Never an insider. But I don't think I even want to be. You've presented a beautiful collage of images and ideas to get the mind and the heart spinning in the direction of possibilities.
